This weekly class is intended as an introduction to the game of tennis. It will cover portions of the necessary information and technique on the 5 major strokes of tennis; the forehand groundstroke, the back hand groundstroke, the volley, the overhead smash and the serve. Participants will be run through level appropriate drills in order for them to gain an introductory skill set for the game of tennis.
This weekly class is intended to further advance the skills of tennis through repetition and consistency drills.. Participants will delve a little deeper into the differing grips, spins and basic strategies of tennis. The class will be fast paced and involve some live ball drills to best mimic the rally portion of tennis.
This is one of the most popular classes that we offer. It is a fast paced, high intense tennis and fitness class. Participants will be run through a sequence of drills each class that is intended to keep them moving and hitting balls non-stop. There is a limit to 8 participants in each class and the sign up is done on a per class basis. All participants do require an understanding of the game of tennis and playing experience is recommended in order to participate in the class.
